Bangladesh

Bangladesh (or in full, The People's Republic of Bangladesh) is located in south Asia between India and Burma. It is a fully independent member of the British Commonwealth. The President of Bangladesh is the head of state, and the Prime Minister of Bangladesh is the head of government.

The Bangladeshi currency is called the Taka, which is divided into 100 Poisha.

The official languages of Bangladesh are Bengali and English.

Prior to 1971, Bangladesh was a part of Pakistan called East Pakistan.
